Choosing a Graduation Bouquet
| Flowers | What they say | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Sunflowers | Joy, success, a bright future | Anyone - great in photos |
| Yellow roses | Celebration and friendship | Friends, siblings, classmates |
| Red roses | Love and pride | Partners, spouses, parents to a child |
| Pink roses and gerberas | Admiration, happiness | Daughters, sisters, friends |
| Mixed bright bouquets | Pure celebration | Anyone |
| Orchids | Achievement, elegance | Postgraduates, a professor or mentor |
Tips for graduation day: choose something easy to hold - graduates carry flowers through photos, hugs and the walk back to the car, so a hand-tied bouquet or a small box is easier than a large vase. A colour that contrasts with the gown stands out in photos.
Graduation Flowers for AUS, University of Sharjah, HCT and Ajman
American University of Sharjah (AUS). AUS holds a spring commencement (around June) and a fall commencement (around December-January) each year - recent ceremonies have graduated well over 400 students each time. Check the date in your graduate's AUS announcement, then pre-order early: slots near the ceremony sell out.
University of Sharjah (UoS). The University of Sharjah holds separate ceremonies for male and female students, usually on different days, in spring (around June) and fall (around January). Check which day your graduate's ceremony is before choosing a delivery time.
Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), Sharjah. HCT's Sharjah campuses also hold graduation ceremonies. Check the date with your graduate's college.
Ajman University and Gulf Medical University. Graduating in Ajman? We deliver across Ajman too.
All our University City graduation orders come from our shop next door. See University City deliveries for campus delivery tips.
We're an independent florist, not affiliated with any university.
School and Kindergarten Graduation Flowers
School and nursery graduations, usually in May and June, are a big day for families in Sharjah. One small bouquet per child is a lovely touch for KG and primary graduations - message us on WhatsApp to ask about a whole class. For high-school graduates, a bright bouquet with chocolates suits a family celebration at home. Schools often don't accept deliveries during ceremonies, so plan to pick up on the way or deliver to home instead.
How to Get Your Graduation Flowers on the Day
Ceremony venues usually have security, crowds and strict timings, and many don't accept deliveries for guests. These are the reliable options:
| Option | Best for |
|---|---|
| Pre-order, then visit our Muwailih shop on the way | Families attending the ceremony |
| Deliver to home the day before | Anyone who can't visit the shop |
| Deliver to home after the ceremony | A surprise waiting when the graduate gets back |
| Deliver to the graduate's residence | Students living on campus - halls usually receive deliveries at the front desk |
Book early. Graduation weeks are among our busiest. Flowers stay fresh: a bouquet delivered the day before looks just as good on the day - keep it in water, away from direct sun and air-conditioning vents.
Graduation Gifts to Add
Add a soft teddy bear, chocolates such as Patchi or Ferrero Rocher, or a cake for the family celebration at home. All gifts are alcohol-free and delivered together.

In Arabic: "مبروك التخرج، وعقبال الماجستير" (Congratulations on graduating, and here's to your master's next.) · "ألف مبروك التخرج، فخورون بك" (Many congratulations on your graduation; we're proud of you.)
